New Name...Old Blog (formerly downmygardenpath)

Below are a few of the photos I took while visiting homes on the Allen Garden Tour.
We saw six of the seven homes on the tour and each one was wonderful.

2nd Allen Garden Tour, May 20, 2007

Backyard Garden overlooking the golf course.
It was very open and sunny.
What a cool, modern looking birdbath.

This is what my Wax Myrtle wants to look
like when it grows up!

A pretty side yard.

Isn't this a lovely shade of coneflower?

More lilies.

Hey Chris,

Welcome to your new blogging space. I actually like this name a little better.

I love that coneflower. I just bought one in a similar shade, although a little deeper. Maybe it's just me, but I never really liked echinacea until they started breeding new colours.

Hi MBT,
So you like the new name better, huh? Maybe I should have named it ThroughMyGardenGate...DownMyGardenPath???

Hi GG,
I love most echinacea. My favorites right now are the deep orange and a wonderful green one. Thanks for stopping by!

I like your new name too ... a change is always fun! Thank you for taking us alongside you at the Allen Garden Tour. I love the sleek lines of the birdbath and I think your Wax Myrtle has something beautiful to aspire to.

I bought an Echinacea yesterday that I hope will be a similar colour to this one. I have a feeling it might be a bit darker.

Okay, Chris, "Through My Garden Gate" is in my links. May you be happy in your new virtual home!

I've never seen a Southern Wax Myrtle so spreading and tall.

Oh, that look absolutely fabulous. I'm sure Mr L would have loved to live there, so close to the gold course :-)

Lovely flowers indeed!!!

HI Chris, Isn't it fun to plan a garden from scratch?
Lovely gate, and great for a name.
