Hope everyone's having a wonderful GTS! Even better, since we get an extra hour. The downside is that it gets darker sooner and THAT makes me grumpy. Last week I wrote how I *might* work on getting a pot for a fountain and this is my field trip for the hunt to find one. I did find a beautiful one, but that's not what this post is about. That's a wonderful looking Farmers Market, Chris - we haven't been to one in a while, but hey - Thanksgiving is coming!
They have similar fountains at a pond supply NW of Austin... I love the disappearing fountains.

Wow! What a HUGE Farmers' Mkt! I can see that I'd get into a lot of trouble there! LOVE you huge pot. Can hardly wait to see the finished fountain. Bear's Breech is very forgiving and a lovely plant. They will die completely down in drought but return with vigor as soon as the rains return here in Sacramento. Looks like we grow a lot of the same plants.
I have always been a big fan of farmers markets, there is usually such a big choice of produce and then there is always the craft side of things, yours look really interesting.
I think when it comes to natural products more people should buy from the farmers market or side stalls, I travel quite a lot and often see farmers stalls on the side of the road and almost always call in, the prices are not bad but you know the produce is fresh. It also helps them with the running of the farms so I feel at least I am doing something to help the farmimg community.
My son Steven lives in Deep Ellum, and I stop by the Farmers Market all the time when I am down there. You can't beat there prices or selection. These are some great pictures, thanks for sharing!
